VOLUNTEERING POSITIONS AND TIMINGS
EVENT SET-UP
Days: Wednesday & Thursday, (March 15 & 16, 2023)
Shift Timings: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Available Positions: 6 each day
​
Volunteers work a 5-hour shift that may include Front Door Prep. Other tasks include, but are not limited to: organizing supplies and equipment, assembling hitting cages, setting-up interactive areas including long putt and short game, setting-up and assembling all signage. Some heavy lifting may be required.
FRONT DOOR PREP
Days: Thursday, (March 16, 2023)
Shift Timings: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Available Positions: 4

Volunteers work a 6-hour shift that will include stuffing goody bags, assembling ticket packages or assembling badges that will be handed out.
​
*If we have extra volunteers, or if all front door prep is completed ahead of schedule, volunteers may be asked to assist in setting up the general process for quick and easy dissemination of all the above.

Volunteers will be responsible for greeting attendees as they enter the show, handing out the VIP/Platinum VIP Bags, handing out any free rounds of golf that are included with admission, and possibly taking tickets. Volunteers may also rotate to offer a break to other volunteers or cover any other volunteer position after the show is opened.

Putting Challenge - There are generally 2 volunteers working this position at a time. One who handles signing people up, keeping track of winner, and disseminating the proper number of balls to contestants while the other handles the shagging and supply of balls.
​
Short Game - Much like the Putting Challenge, there are generally two volunteers working this position during high peak times. One who handles handing out the prizes, and the other who shags the balls and ensures the game is in working order.
​
Long Drive/KP - Assist with running the Long Drive and KP. Record stores, coordinate sessions and disseminate prizes.
​
Testing and Fitting Zone - Help keep Testing & Fitting Zone neat and clean. Rake golf balls as needed, check in with manufacturer reps, replace rubber tees if necessary, or tape mats down if needed in the Zone.

When volunteering for this position, you can expect just about anything. Volunteers working this shift may cover breaks for other volunteers, help with unexpected situations that may come up, and assist with production needs as they come up.
EVENT TAKE DOWN

Shift Timings: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Tasks include, but are not limited to: General event team down, disassembling hitting cages, taking down interactive areas including long putt and short game, cleaning up the demo one, tearing down all signage, packing boxes, loading bins, etc. Some heavy lifting may be required.
