David is the President of Mid America Golfing Events, the 2012 RE/MAX World Long Drive Champion and an 1-time RE/MAX World Long Drive Finalist. His long drive journey began in 2004 at the Long Drivers of America tour Qualifying School in Dallas, Tex. He captured the interest of seasoned long drivers by earning his LDA tour card on his first attempt. David has a flair for bringing excitement and entertainment to both corporate and charitable events. Through his efforts, he has helped raise in excess of $1,500,000 for charitable events in the last eight years.
Gary Nutt has more than four decades of PGA professional experience and brings his unparalleled knowledge of golf to the Winstar Golf Academy as an instructor. Prior to coming to Winstar, Gary taught or held the head pro position at a number of top-100 golf clubs in the United States and in Mexico, including PGA WEST, Querencia Golf Club, Cabo del Sol, Mayacama Golf Club, Roaring Fork Golf Club, Moon Valley Golf Club and Wayzata Country Club. Gary has taught and spoken at PGA teaching academies and the PGA business school, instructing aspiring PGA professionals on how to teach golf and other aspects of golf operations. He has also served as president of the South Central Section of the PGA of America. Gary is certified in Trackman and has the ability to break down the golf swing to the simplest parts, in turn, helping any level of golfer improve their game.
Rick Beck is the assistant regional manager and center manager of GolfTEC Las Colinas. An honors graduate of the Professional Golfers Career College and Stack & Tilt Network Instructor, Rick has conducted more than 15,000 lessons, including over 10,000 at GolfTEC alone. He is also a 2010, 2011 and 2012 Outstanding Achievement in Instruction Award winner and Mizuno Top-100 Fitter.
Adrian Kelley is the center manager and certified personal coach at GolfTEC Montgomery Plaza. Adrian has taught over 2,000 golf lessons with GolfTEC and has over 15 years of playing and teaching experience in the golf industry. Adrian currently competes on the Fairway Golf Tour & in NTPGA Section Events.
Dr. Carlos Bagley is an associate professor of neurological surgery and orthopaedic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and the Director of UT Southwestern’s mutlidisciplinary Spine Center. Come learn about how you can keep your back in shape this golf season and avoid injuries that will limit your play in 2017!
Rick Stewart is a member of the PGA of America. He graduated from New Mexico State University in 2007 with his degree in business marketing. Upon graduation he became head golf professional at The Healdsburg Golf Club in Healdsburng, Calif., till 2009. From there, he became the program coordinator and head teaching professional for The First Tee of Singapore in Singapore. After working for The First Tee, Rick still had the itch to play professionally and competed briefly on the Asian PGA Tour. Rick’s travels then took him to Sydney, Australia, where he pursued post-graduate education and worked at The Australian Golf Club in the golf operations department. He came back stateside in the beginning of 2014 and was lead instructor at Queenstown Golf Club in the Washington, D.C., area. Rick has now been Director of Instruction at Topgolf Allen since July 2015 and enjoys working with golfers of all skill levels!”
Erik Wait is GolfTEC’s regional manager for Oklahoma and the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and a PGA professional. Erik graduated from the Mississippi State University Professional Golf Management Program in 2000. He has taught at GolfTEC for over 10 years, giving more than 20,000 lessons to all levels of golfers.
